Course Outline
Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) is the next step for Certified CMMC Professionals (CCPs) aiming to advance their careers as Assessors.
The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, managed by The Cyber AB (formerly the CMMC Accreditation Body), is designed to validate defense contractors’ compliance with cybersecurity practices. Once rulemaking concludes and CMMC 2.0 is fully implemented, all organizations providing products or services to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) must meet the required CMMC Level specified in their contracts.
CMMC Assessors are qualified individuals authorized by The Cyber AB to evaluate organizations against the CMMC framework through on-site or remote assessments.
One of the main benefits associated with attending the CMMC training course is having expert instructors who provide the masterful training you need to absorb information quickly and implement important steps in your daily operational activities. Our trainers have considerable years of experience in delivering training courses in various industries. That being said, our CMMC training curriculum and our experts are capable of offering you the knowledge and skills you need to thrive in your job position.
As a Cyber AB/CAICO Approved Training Provider (ATP), we are experts at pinpointing the exact requirements put by CMMC and embracing those requirements through the training curriculum. Considering that the defense industrial base (DIB) partnership consists of more than 300,000 companies and their subcontractors who perform under contract with the DoD, the demand for Certified CMMC Professionals / CMMC Certified Professionals and Certified CMMC Assessors / CMMC Certified Assessors will be enormous.
This type of certification is the essence for anyone who wishes to provide informed consulting services to Level 1 self-assessment customers, those who wish to participate as an Assessment Team Member on a CMMC Level 2 assessment, or those that wish to progress forward an become a Certified CMMC Assessor / CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA). A Certified CMMC Assessor / CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) can be part of an assessment team under the supervision of a Certified CMMC Lead Assessor / CMMC Certified Lead Assessor. In order to become a CCA, the respective candidate must successfully complete a CMMC-AB/Cyber AB/CAICO Certified CMMC Professional / CMMC Certified Professional Training from a Cyber AB Licensed Training Provider / Approved Training Provider. Taking the exam is optional for those who wish to operate as Certified CMMC Assessor / CMMC Certified Assessor only. More information on becoming a Certified CMMC Assessor can be found here.
